Qurantine curfew imposed in Moratuwa, Panadura & Homagama Police areas with immediate effect.
Covid patients were identified from these areas earlier today.
Measures had been taken to isolate the Keselwatta Public Market area in Panadura, earlier today.
Previously, a fishmonger at the market has been identified to have contracted the COVID-19 virus.
Subsequent PCR tests have detected 12 more cases from Panadura North and Panadura South areas.
67 police areas in the country are now under qurantine curfew.
