Covid-19 patient reported from WTC

A person working at the World Trade Centre has tested positive for Covid-19.

A tenant circular issued today (20), states that an employee of Acuity Knowledge Partners Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd on the West Tower of the 32nd floor has been tested positive.

It notes that the affected employee had last visited the building on Oct. 08.

It adds that the office has been closed, contact tracing has been completed while staff members in contact with the affected employee will be subjected to PCR tests.

It further notes that a thorough and deep disinfection of the floor including the washrooms and common areas have been carried out and that the WTC will continue to take precautionary measures in consultation with the Ministry of Health.
